Barndominium Design Pros is a planning practice for owners who want to know what their project really requires before they commit money to it.
What we do
We work before the builder does.
Most people arrive at a barndominium the same way: a piece of land, a rough budget, and a handful of photos. What's missing is the part nobody sells — a clear read on whether the site, the money and the local rules line up.
That's the work we do. We evaluate land, project realistic budgets, research jurisdiction requirements and put the risks on paper. When the project makes sense, we move into design and preconstruction. When it doesn't, we say so, and you've spent a fraction of what a false start would have cost.
We're based in Parker, Colorado and work with owners nationwide. Our background is in metal building systems, residential construction and preconstruction planning — the three disciplines a barndominium sits between.

Independent by design
We do not sell buildings, kits or construction. Our recommendations aren't shaped by what a supplier has in stock or what a builder wants to sell you.
Planning before drawings
Drawings are cheap to change and expensive to build. We resolve site, budget and jurisdiction questions first, so the design solves a real problem.
Written, not verbal
Every deliverable is documented so you can hand it to a lender, a builder or a county reviewer and have the same conversation twice.
Metal-building literate
Barndominiums fail when a conventional house plan is dropped onto a clear-span frame. We plan around the structure from the beginning.
